    Within your private dome, you'll find a space designed for both rest and easeful movement. Each dome is connected by a private corridor to the communal dome, where nourishing meals and gentle reassurances are delivered daily.

    Dome Building Workshop

    Join us on Cortes Island for a hands-on dome building workshop where we dive into the art and skill of how to build a wooden geodesic dome. Over five days, you’ll learn how to bring a dome to life using timeless design principles, simple tools, and group effort.

Across ancient cultures and lineages, darkness is referred to as its own field of knowing. It is a deeply intuitive and transformational space that, when met intentionally, can unveil the truest expressions of who we are.

Darkness mirrors the body, psyche, and soul, offering a rare and honest encounter with all that lives within. In this space, we awaken to the wholeness of Self, but not before sitting within the intricacies of who we are.

Darkness holds steady as we learn to sit in the unfolding of our truth. To reclaim the light that is remembered when we touch in on the thoughts we’ve outrun, the emotions we’ve buried, and the stories we’ve shaped ourselves around.

From here, things begin to reorganize into a pattern that has always been. Darkness does not give us something we do not already possess, it reveals what has lived within us all along, waiting to be known.

Land, Design and Intention

Each aspect in the creation of Nocturna Domes was merged intentionally. The goal was to create an energetic living design that weaves potency and potential with land and place. A space to illuminate the shadow, awaken to the divine, and lend our efforts to humanity’s return.

Cortes Island is alive and unfiltered. It is a place that expresses it’s beauty with stunning coastlines and majestic forests. Those who spend time here can feel the interconnectedness and presence that lives within each moment.

Our geodesic domes are more than just aesthetically pleasing, they were selected as instruments. Their geometry serves as an amplifier for the healing intentions living in the hearts of each guest visiting the retreat centre.

For energetic coherence we collaborated with a renowned numerologist and the decision was clear, build 5 outer domes. The number of alchemy and union. 5 reflects the merging of feminine and masculine, and the weaving of light and dark.
